Ex Microsoft employee joins IOTA Foundation as a business developer
Pierre Hoffman, a business developer who earlier worked for TOTAL and Microsoft, has now joined the IOTA Foundation.
Hoffman has been pursuing a career in Distributed Ledger Systems for over a year before which he was interested in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and how AI helps establish the society.
IOTA believes that his hard work and comprehension of the European ecosystem will help in building and supervising IOTA’s local business. However, he will also be a useful support to develop business activities across various industries.
On joining IOTA, Hoffman believes that his experiences of working with companies will aid in changing and nurturing the ecosystem in a positive manner.
“This experience is the opportunity of a lifetime, to make the system evolve from the way we know it today. Working with companies and other various public agencies on highly disruptive business models that are shaping an entire new landscape of opportunities across numerous industries, is one of the most exciting tasks on the agenda,” said Hoffman.
In order to build a sustainable future, working with the foundation and understanding the industry needs is significant, according to Hoffman
“I truly believe that IOTA is the missing piece of the puzzle that will enable a smart revolution driven both by permissionless co-creation and the appetite for radically new approaches. Therefore, it is of major importance to listen and understand the industry’s needs, to shape broad and seamless ecosystems in order to build a better and more sustainable future,” he added.
According to a recent report by BC Focus, IOTA Foundation had appointed a new head of communication with 19 years of experience, Cara Harbor. Her responsibilities included developing internal and external communication strategy of the foundation and also for circulating information to stakeholders and other parties on time.
